Unique party in dance music heaven
With over 350 events, 2,200 DJs and more than 80 clubs and venues, the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) is the largest electronic dance festival in the world. The most high-profile party during this 5-day long event in October is the Amsterdam Music Festival (AMF). The first edition of the AMF took place in 2013 and in less than 2 years this new festival has become a household name in the world of dance music.
High expectations
This year, the Amsterdam Music Festival will take it to the next level with one of the most impressive artist line-ups of the ADE. Dance pioneers such as Tiësto, David Guetta, Hardwell, Martin Garrix and Armin van Buuren will treat 25,000 music fans from around the world to an amazing party. The biggest dance floor at the ADE will be packed. The 2015 winner of the DJ Mag Top 100 will be announced at the event. The DJ who has the right to use the title ‘Best DJ in the World’ for the next 12 months usually performs at the AMF.
Unique event
The AMF has planned a very special event for this year’s edition. Armin van Buuren and Tiësto – both voted Best DJ by DJ Mag on numerous occasions – will be performing together at a festival for the first time in many years. Both DJs spend very little time in the Netherlands so it was quite the logistical challenge for the organisation to confirm these 2 superstars for AMF. But they did it. And that in itself is reason enough to attend the Amsterdam Music Festival.
